Colquitt County - That school bus driver caught on tape cursing at students has been fired.

Friday on WALB News 10 at six you heard an audio tape of Colquitt County bus driver Sandra Farrell. She had been secretly recorded by a parent. On the tape, she was heard ranting, raving and cursing at special needs students on her bus.

First thing Monday morning, Farrell was fired. Assistant Superintendent Mickey Key says this was an isolated incident and that behavior won't be tolerated.

The monitor on the school bus has been suspended without pay while an investigation continues.

A new bus driver will handle the route until a permanent replacement is hired.
