Mitchell County - A convicted child molester will get a new trial.
Forty-year-old Timothy Johnson of Mitchell County was convicted in 2002 of aggravated child molestation, child molestation, sodomy, statutory rape and incest.
Johnson requested another trial claiming his attorney was not effective, but that was his third attorney. Now he's been appointed a courtroom attorney, which was one of his original attorneys he let go.
