Cordele-- Three people are busted for buying furniture in Cordele with a stolen retirement check.

About $3,700 dollars worth of items were purchased from Farmer's Furniture--paid for with a $5,206 dollar retirement check belonging to a disabled person. Police think 32-year-old Theappllis Hamilton of Cordele stole the check from the victim's mailbox and endorsed it. Police also arrested 27-year-old Tyron Caruthers of Rochelle and 27-year-old Melissa Hamilton of Cordele--they are accused of buying the furniture with the stolen check.
