Adel - Three years ago, two south Georgians were brutally beaten to death. Now we know their killers will never go free.

On November 10, 2000, Wesley Mason, Junior and Hercules Brown robbed Bennett's Grocery in Adel and beat three people with a baseball bat. The owner, William Carroll Bennett and clerk, Rebecca Ann Browning died. A customer, Wayne Peters, survived.

Monday, Mason pleaded guilty to two counts of malice murder, two counts of armed robbery, and one count of aggravated battery. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Brown got that same sentence almost a year and a half ago.
