Albany-- A few cans really go a long way. The WALB-Salvation Army Canned Food Drive is collecting thousands of pounds of food for needy families.
Many generous people have donated food this week, including Leah Sewell-- her family brought canned goods for a Thanksgiving meal, "And if we can make one meal easier and happier for a family that's in need it's a great feeling."
The drive ended today--but you haven't missed your chance to provide a meal for someone who really needs it. There's another food drive scheduled for December. Plus, you can always drop off canned goods at the Salvation Army.
