Stadium will not allow Halloween costumes

October 31, 2003

Albany -- You might want to check with your school if you plan to wear a Halloween Costume to Friday night's high school football games. Some stadiums will not admit people in costume.

One is Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany. No one in a Halloween costume will be allowed to enter the stadium, where Dougherty High will host Cairo. Dougherty County Schools Athletic Director Johnny Seabrooks said "We have a policy against any material that might be insinuating any type of activity that might be illegal. So we are going to have that in the same category with Halloween costumes, and not allow them in tonight."

Lee County High School will allow their fans to wear their Halloween Costumes, as the Trojans host Valdosta High.

Sherwood Christian Academy does not promote Halloween, and discourage fans attending tonight's football game in costume.

Deerfield Windsor welcomes fans in Halloween costumes to their game hosting Southland.
