Americus-- A former Habitat for Humanity employee is now facing extradition to Florida on pornography charges.

40-year-old Carl Stanley Thaxton of Americus is charged in Florida with computer pornography and transmission of material harmful to minors by electronic device. Thaxton is also in trouble here in Georgia. He was arrested in August and charged with sending sexually explicit e-mails to a law enforcement agent in Florida who was posing as a 15-year-old girl.

In August, the FBI confiscated two home computers and one computer at Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat fired Thaxton after the arrest.
