Rooftop burglar, back again

October 28, 2003

Coolidge - The Quick Mart Convenience store in Coolidge was broken into over the weekend. Someone apparently pulled back metal roofing to get inside the store, but the store doesn't keep cash there when it's closed.

The Thomas County Sheriff's Department is investigating the burglary, and investigators say it is similar to other burglaries in the Thomasville community where someone has entered through rooftops.  About 15 stores have been broken into within the last year.
