Thomasville - Some South Georgia women are taking a quilt making class at the Thomas County Extension Agency. It's not an easy class, but anyone can take it.

Instructor Mary Perryman says learning how to sew quilts is a labor of love. She says, "After this class they should be able to construct another one if they would like, on their own. It's real good instructions in the book and good time together with everyone sewing with their friends and having some good fellowship as well as the actually accomplishing something."

The extension agency holds sewing classes periodically, contact them if you are interested in signing up.
