Americus-- Investigators say an eight-month-old Americus girl did die from Shaken Baby Syndrome--brain damage caused when a baby is shaken, slammed, or thrown aganist an object.

Haley Bone was dropped off at her baby-sitter's home Thursday.  She was later rushed to Sumter Regional Medical Center. That same day, she was taken to an Atlanta hospital. She died Saturday.

The investigation is ongoing, and no other information is being released at this time. Haley Bone's funeral is Wednesday.
