The parks at Chehaw reopened an exhibit that the flood of 1994 wiped out. Ben's BarnYard Petting Zoo open Sunday morning .
"A tragedy happen last March where a little boy in the community passed away ,little Benjamin Shepherd. And his friends and family are amazing people they wanted to do something to memorialize him. So they came to us and started to create Ben's Barn yard," said park director Glenn Dobrogosz.
Shepherd a young South Georgia boy died from a rare disease. "My son loved the cats, dogs and the animals. And he would have love to say hello to Miss Piggy," said Ben's mother Ann Zimmer-Shepherd. The zoo and Ben's family worked over three months to complete the petting exhibit.
