Sumter County- 84 year old Mildred Reeves, of Americus, died when the car she was riding in crashed.
It happened at the intersection of highways 27 and 195 in Sumter County around 2 PM Friday afternoon.
State Troopers say she was a passenger in the Buick LaSabre 83-year old Helen Bradley was driving. They were traveling North on Highway 195 when Bradley failed to stop at the stop sign.
She struck a 1997 Chevy Malibu driven by 25 year old Turkessa Walker, of Oglethorpe.
Reeves was found dead at the scene. Both drivers sustained minor injuries.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
