Albany-- An Albany student will be rocking to the oldies on a hit TV show Sunday night.
Deerfield Windsor senior Haley Kilpatrick is showing her journalism class a home video she shot while she was on the "American Dreams" set. "American Dreams" is a popular NBC drama. To get Haley in character, makeup artists put a sixties style wig and makeup on her.
She'll be dancing in the bandstand scene, right next to the main characters Meg and Roxanne. This isn't he only episode she'll be in, "Well the second one airs on November 30th with Ricky Nelson played by Brad Paisley. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to go back, it's hard to miss that much school. iIf I can get some time during the Christmas holidays I would love too."
Kilpatrick is a budding actress. She's been offered small parts in other TV shows and films, including work on the movie "Aviator" with Leonardo DiCaprio. But for now, she's just concentrating on getting into college. You can see Haley Sunday night on "American Dreams" at 8:00 p.m.
