NAACP holds Housing Expo

October 23, 2003

Thomasville - The expo is at the Frederick Douglas complex in Thomasville. Representatives from Habitat for Humanity, and the Thomasville Housing Authority will be present, as well as banks and contractors so you can find out how to finance a home.

NAACP President, Laudric Devoe, says, "We are concerned about improving and bettering our community and one fo the ways we can do that is by sponsoring and providing information on how folks can acquire houses, particularly first time home buyers."

The expo started at 5 PM and lasts until 8 PM.
