Albany- A woman found dead inside her apartment late Wednesday night, died of natural causes.

Around 10:15 PM police found 55-year-old Hattie Ratliff inside a Gardens II apartment on Whispering Pines Road.

Police were called last night after a neighbor heard Ratliff's dog barking. She was a registered nurse at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

An autopsy today confirmed the cause of death.
