Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
Bainbridge - Wal-Mart recently purchased about 20 acres on Highway 27 where they plan to build a 187,000 square foot supercenter.
Ralph Handsford owns a small TV sales and services company. He says he relies more on repairs than sells and is not concerned about Wal-Mart taking away business. He says, "Actually when I sell something, it's just a plus. So I don't think it's going to affect me much, practically not at all."
The corporation paid more than 2 million dollars for the land. The Supercenter is expected to open in 2005.
