Thomasville - Plantation Manor Assisted Living Home, currently has 22 residents with Alzheimer's. Tuesday night they are hosting a walk to raise money to help find a cure for the disease and to let others know about the disease.

Activities Director Virgil Thomas says, "Finding a cure for Alzheimer's is finding hope for our future."

The walk begins at 5:15 Tuesday afternoon at Plantation Manor. Registration is $10.00 per person or $25.00 per family. Walkers will receive a t-shirt, book and food.
