Moultrie- 34 year old Luzetha Wardrick is in jail accused of shooting her boyfriend at their 7th avenue home around noon Saturday.

Witnesses say 60 year old Odel Davis was raking leaves when Wardrick came outside and started an argument with him. Witnesses say she went back inside, and locked the door behind her. About an hour later, they heard a gunshots.

"That's when all of us took off running in the house. I had my baby and I had to pick up my baby first, and then I ran in the house. By the time all that happened I peeked out the door and I saw the man laying down on the ground and he had a hunk of blood in his hand like he just felt his forehead," says Lekesha Martin.

Davis was shot in the head with a shotgun. He was rushed to Archibald Hospital in Thomasville. Wardrick was arrested and taken to Colquitt County jail.

Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
