    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

Americus-- A Sumter County man is accused of murdering his neighbor.

43-year-old Jerome Campbell is charged with the murder of 65-year-old J.C. Dice. Dice was found by deputies Wednesday, shot twice in the head. His car was stolen, as well as a social security check.

Campbell was arrested the day after Dice's body was found for a parole violation.

He has been in the Sumter County Jail since, and was charged Tuesday morning with Dice's murder.
