Sumter County-- Investigators now say a Sumter County man, found more than a week after he died, was murdered.

65-year-old J.C. Dice was found inside his Brady Road home Wednesday. At first, deputies thought Dice died from natural causes, but an autopsy revealed he was shot.

Sheriff Bob Ingle says, "The only thing we know at this time is there was two shots. We haven't gotten the results back showing the direction or travel of the bullets, all we know right now is two gun shots to the head."

Dice was last seen at church September 28th. Investigators think he was killed sometime that day. No arrests have been made, but there are leads in the case.
