(Albany-AP) -- Uyl Joyner connected with Alvin Jackson on scoring passes of 20 and 11 yards to lead Albany State to a 31-to-20 victory over Tuskegee tonight.
The Golden Rams (5-2, 3-1 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) erased a 13-to-seven deficit on the 20-yard scoring pass 3:24 before halftime to take the lead for good.
Tuskegee (2-3, 1-2) got two touchdowns from Lawrence Ervin on runs of three and four yards and Travis Gumbs had field goals of 41 and 35 yards.
Marcus Cade scored on a three-yard run for Albany in the opening period and Antonio Atkins on a one-yard run in the final quarter.
Adrian Arango added a 26-yard field goal.
