Thomasville - Governor Perdue has declared this week as biomedical engineering week.

It's a time to recognize those people who repair and install sophisticated medial equipment. Archbold Memorial Hospital inThomasville is one of the few hospitals that have their own biomedical engineers.

In addition to repairing medical equipment, engineers also train physicians, and others on the proper use of the equipment.
