A Valdosta girl infected with Eastern Equine Encephalitis has been moved to an Atlanta hospital.
Ten-year-old Jennifer Tucker was bitten by an infected mosquito at her home in July. She suffered a stroke and doctors at the Medical College of Georgia had to remove part of her skull to relieve the swelling on her brain.
Tucker is listed in good condition, but she still can't speak or get out of bed.
Doctors transferred her to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, hoping that a change of environment will help her improve.
