Lanier County-- A Lowndes County man is in jail in connection with the murder of a Lakeland woman.

Her car was found burning on Wilson Pond Road in Brooks County Monday night. Investigators used search dogs and tracked Anderson to Hudson Dockett Housing Projects in Valdosta.
