Perry- The dairy goat competition brought farmers from all over the state to the Georgia National Fairgrounds.

Owners lined up their best goats in front of judges who graded everything from their heads to their tails, but it would be 4 year old Decimal Place Zenyatta that took the first place prize.

"We come to the Georgia National Fair for the children, so that they get the experience and the exposure and learn the responsibility of the goats and we do it primarily for them," says owner Mary Rigdon.

Decimal place also took first place in the goat competition for all breeds. Prize winning livestock will be on display at the fair all week.
