Cordele-- A Cordele man accused of strangling his girlfriend is denied bond. 38-year-old Ricky Bishop Junior is charged with murder. His long-time girlfriend, 37-year-old Suzy Neisant, was found strangled inside her Cordele home Tuesday. Investigators think she was killed late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Bishop checked himself into a Montezuma hospital Sunday, then was transferred to the Mental Detox Center in Sumter County. That's where deputies took Bishop into custody Tuesday night. Bishop is being held at the Crisp County Jail.
