Yard sale and free concert in Moultrie

October 2, 2003

Moultrie - If you're up for a bargain or a free concert this weekend, make plans to visit Moultrie.

More than 30 vendors will be set up by 7:30 Saturday morning for a Downtown yard sale. Merchants on the square are also having sidewalk sales. At nine, there will be gospel singing and dancing.

Music Under the Magnolia starts at 7:30 Saturday night featuring The Kinchafoonee Cowboys. Mainstreet Director, Amy Johnson, says, "We have a multitude of events going on and it couldn't be better weather and a better time of year to take place. So we invite everyone to come out."

Coordinators expect 1500 people to show up to the free events. There will also be prizes given away throughout the day.
