Albany- Students at Southside Middle school kicked off their 25-book campaign this morning with a skit modeled after the stage play The Wiz.
Literacy Coach, Robin Elzia says the campaign will also help students realize that reading can help improve grades in all areas of study.
Coordinators are challenging students to have half their books read by the Christmas break.
