Sparks woman was hit by car

September 30, 2003

Cook County - Autopsy results show that a woman found dead on a dirt road near Lenox was hit by a car.

Twenty-eight year old Cara Danforth was found in a ditch off Homer Joiner Road Sunday morning. Investigators say she had been there overnight.

They have the car that they think hit her, but are waiting on evidence to be processed.
