Douglas-- The driver charged with killing those children is out of jail.

Twenty-nine-year old Amanda Michelle Troupe was driving the car that crashed into the ATV over-loaded with six children on September 20th.

She is charged with DUI and five counts of 1st degree vehicular homicide. Troupe's bond was set at $500,000.

She bonded out of jail, but is under house arrest with electronic monitoring.

State troopers say Troupe crossed the center line of Smith Cemetery Road and hit the 4-wheeler head on.

Troopers say 29-year old Amanda Michelle Troupe of Ambrose was headed northbound in the southbound lane when she collided head on with a Yamaha Bear Tracker. The crash killed the 14-year old driver of the ATV and four others and left a sixth with serious injuries.

State Troopers investigating the wreck say it's the worst one they've seen all year, and dealing with the tragedy has been difficult for students and staff at West Coffee Middle School.
