Americus-- An Americus man is found guilty on three counts of aggravated assault for shooting at his girlfriend who was a police officer.

A jury found 22-year-old Terrence Washington not guilty on separate charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, and burglary. He was arrested in February 2002 for ramming his car into the vehicle of his former girlfriend, 30-year-old Donza Coley, then shooting at her with her police-issued gun. Washington will be sentenced next month.
