Magnolia, AR--In what many were calling the biggest game in Southern Arkansas history, the Valdosta State Blazers spoiled the Muleriders hope for an upset with a 41-17 Gulf South Conference victory Saturday night.
The win improves VSU's (4-0, 2-0) regular season win streak to 31 consecutive games. The Blazers have also now won 24 straight Gulf South Conference games.
The second ranked Blazers will finally return home next Saturday with a conference matchup against Ouachita Baptist. Kickoff is slated for 1pm at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.
