Albany- With less than six weeks until the scheduled election, a man who hopes to be Albany's next mayor opened his campaign headquarters tonight.

Willie Adams says he believes it's time for a leadership change in Albany. He says he can work with other agencies to develop a healthier business climate.

Adams also says the city needs to improve race relations.

"Well our biggest problem in my opinion is the racial divide that we have," Adams said. "We have a perception that Albany's not a good city and those of us who have lived here for a while know better."

Adams is running against incumbent Tommy Coleman and challenger Marcia Felts-Wimberly.
