Albany-- Four Dougherty County jail employees plead not guilty to federal charges of depriving prisoners of their rights.
Stephanie Henry and Corporal Santos Ruizgonzalez are accused of hitting prisoners in two separate cases.
Juanita Clark and Kevin Clark are accused of helping cover it up. "They are actually being accused of lying," said Phil Cannon, J. Clark's Lawyer.
"Like Ms. Clark, she is a ten year employee, as I understand it, with no bad information in her personnel file whatsoever. It's been devastating for her. She has actually suffered some physical ailments as a result of the accusations against her," Cannon said.
The four jailers are suspended without pay. Their cases are expected to be tried in January or February.
