Albany- A man is charged with kidnapping, after he tried to drag his girlfriend away from her job.

Investigators say 23-year-Clifford Bolden started arguing with 19-year-old Delisha Mathis while she was at work at Domino's Pizza on Dawson Road.

Police say he punched her, and then carried her out of the building and forced her into his car. She ran back inside, and he drove away.

"He tried to get her to leave. In fact he placed her in his vehicle. He did beat this individual up," said Lt. Kenn Singleton of the Albany Police Department.

Bolden is charged with kidnapping and battery, and is being held in the Dougherty County jail.
