Mom charged with child abuse

Albany-- An Albany woman is indicted for leaving her three children home alone for two days, without food or water.

Thirty-four-year-old Rome Jackson was indicted on three charges of cruelty to children.

She is charged with leaving her nine, eleven, and fourteen-year-old children alone at their home on Tompkins Avenue for two days.

The power and water had been turned off at the home, and there was no food for the children.
