Rams look to rebound at Lane

September 23, 2003

Albany- The Albany State Golden Rams are looking to rebound after Saturday's loss to Kentucky State.

Head coach Mike White says some of his players were so disappointed with their performance they apologized to him after the game.

Albany State will look to get back on track Saturday night in Jackson, Tennessee against Lane College.

The Rams have not only won the last three meetings against Lane.

They also have only allowed six total points in those three games.

That is why Albany State's defense is expecing Lane to run everything in their playbook.

Mike White said "We expect them to take chances. The punter might run and again they do an unorthodox style of offense and special teams but again for us we just have got to take care of what we do on our side of the ball and I think we will be fine."

Albany State's game at Lane College starts at seven eastern Saturday night in Jackson, Tennessee.
