Americus-- A Sumter County man shot in the face by an intruder is undergoing more surgery in Columbus.

18-year-old Jermaine Tullis was shot in the head and leg by an unknown gunman inside his home on Rockhill Subdivision Road Monday morning. His cousin, 24-year-old Antaraus Jones, was shot once in the hand. Investigators are hoping Tullis will be able to identify the shooter.

Sheriff Bob Ingle says, "We have an investigation going on at this time, apparently the subject who is in serious condition informed his family he knew who the shooter was and that he would tell us at a later point in time."

Family members says doctors want Tullis to rest--investigators have not yet been able to talk to him about who shot him.
