Valdosta - A South Georgia man was shot in the face, and remarkably, not seriously injured.

Twenty-five year old Andrew Crudup was riding with four other men down Jaycee Shack Road when they demanded he get out and one man shot him in the face.

He stumbled through the woods and made it to a nearby home for help. A few hours later, police noticed car matching the description Crudup gave.

"The officer pulled the vehicle over and found a pistol and a small amount of cocaine inside the car," said Lt. Brian Childress.

The men in the car, Johnny Treadwell and a 16-year-old juvenile were arrested for aggravated assault, possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Investigators are looking for two other suspects connected to the shooting.

Crudup was treated and released from South Georgia Medical Center.
