Albany - The new sanctuary is has state of the art equipment, and can seat many more people than the old sanctuary.
Church member Andre Thompson says he is excited about the opportunities the new sanctuary will present.
He says, "We realized that we wanted a bigger place. But our church has a long, long history in the community and it's been here for a number of years. So although we are at a new facility we won't forget the history that the old sanctuary has "
The new sanctuary cost about $800,000 to build. And seats about 500 people.
