Lee County-- A 70-year-old Lee County man is jailed for assaulting a teenager.

Investigators say John Jordan hit and then chased the 18-year-old boy around his Big Oak Road yard with hedge clippers Monday. The fight was said to have started when Jordan demanded sex from the boy's 38-year-old mother who had been staying in Jordan's home for a few weeks. When the woman refused, Jordan demanded the two move out. Jordan is also charged with criminal trespass for ransacking the woman's bedroom, destroying a T.V. and VCR.
