Albany-- Albany Police Department patrol cars will soon be outfitted with new equipment, thanks to a $102,000 federal block grant to update technology in the police department.
Chief Bobby Johnson says, "Things such as digital cameras, recorders, in car videos, radar units."
The annual grant award will also be used to support Community Oriented Policing Activities.
