Valdosta - A South Georgia man is in serious condition after being shot in a home invasion.
Twenty-five year old Nick Rawls of Valdosta was shot once in the abdominal area at his apartment on Melrose Drive around 1:00 Thursday morning.
His roommate opened the door to find two black males with some sort of shotgun. He pushed the gun to the side and ran out of the room. A few minutes later, he heard a gunshot and found Rawls collapsed outside.
Investigators don't know if the shooting was gang or drug related.
