Albany- Some South Georgia Red Cross Volunteers are already on the way to help people affected by Hurricane Isabel.

Willie Hamilton had the disaster services emergency response vehicle ready to leave for a staging area in Nashville this afternoon. Hamilton and another volunteer will be on standby there until they know where help is needed.

"I enjoy just helping people," said Willie Hamilton," a Red Cross volunteer. "I feel like if I help someone that's in need of help, then I've had a good day."

Their main job will be to help provide food for those who need it.
