Valdosta - Police are looking for a man who robbed and assaulted a woman.
When the woman got out of her car at the Gas and Go on South Patterson Street around 4:00 Friday afternoon, the suspect pulled a handgun on her and demanded money.
He struck her over the eye with the gun and left with her wallet.
"According to the victim's description, the suspect is an African-American male, who was wearing a multi-colored tee shirt and some sort of mask that looked to be homemade," said Lt. Brian Childress. "He took off on foot after he assaulted her."
The woman received medical treatment and is doing fine.
