Worth Co. - This weekend is a time when the scouts can learn special skills and earn badges that they may not have a chance to earn during the summer. Being a boy scout is tough work.

District Executive Lloyd Meyers says, "They take a little time, a little work....it's kind of like going to school in some ways, but a little more fun than going to school, but in an outdoors way."

The scouts aren't just playing this weekend, they are learning as well. They take classes on personal management, architecture, and there's even a course on climbing.

The classes may end this weekend, but the work doesn't. Some requirements take months to fulfill, but the Scouts say they are dedicated and the work is well worth it in the end.

The camp started early Saturday morning and lasts until Sunday at noon.
