Albany - Eight former POWs were guests at a recognition breakfast at MCLB Friday morning.

Retired Master Gunnery Sergeant, Nicholas Retza spoke about his experiences as a Marine.

He stressed how important it is that all Marines come home... even if they're killed in the line of duty.

"The Marine Corps has always brought their dead and wounded out," says Retza. "And that's a good feeling. To know, that, even if you get it, you'll get home."

MCLB hosts the breakfast every year for former Prisoner's of War and their families.
