Tifton- Eighteen-year-old Bobby Sanderson was sentenced to a year in jail after a jury convicted him of possession of a firearm by a minor.

He was not convicted of four counts of aggravated assault for a shooting last November during a party at a Tifton farm of off Mount Olive Church Road.

Sanderson was also fined $1,000.00 and must attend anger management classes.
