Albany - Suspended Baker County Sheriff Isaac Anderson is late to his pre-trial hearing Wednesday.

Anderson walked into the Federal courtroom in Albany 20 minutes past his scheduled appearance. When the judge asked him about his tardiness, Anderson's attorney, Phil Cannon, quickly took the blame. Cannon says he told Anderson the pre-trial started at 10:30 instead of ten.

Prior to that, Cannon was given permission to have two extra days to file motions concerning the state's taped FBI interviews and jailhouse conversations with Tommy Williams, Junior and his family.

Anderson is accused of making a false police report for Williams and lying to federal agents.

His trial is scheduled in October.
