Vienna-- Dooly County wants a new conference center.

The proposed 15,000 square foot center would be located here, at the Big Pig Jig site near I-75. County leaders hope a conference center would help attract other businesses, like new restaurants.

Chamber Director Alex McCoy says, "We are not doing a good job of tapping I-75 right now, if each of them have ten dollars in their back pocket to spend why not spend it here?"

A committee has been appointed to do a feasibility study.
